As the local public amenities have gone through drastic downsizing in opening times, the activities for the local young is not as it used to be. However Progress is working with families, local organisations, and the council to get hours back as seen in previous years. Local children have been encouraged in growing food on site. Well-being through gardening and then healthy cooking initiatives. The young local community upkeeps three gardens and various planters all around the site. These gardens and planters provide the local community with an area of beauty and function, especially to those who do not have gardens and also a source of activity for those youngsters that do not get to do much outside where they live.
